Klaudia Brieška – Görözđös

She graduated from the Eva Jaczová Dance Conservatory in Bratislava (2009), earned a BA in dance from Palucca Hochschule in Dresden, and completed her MA at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (2020). She joined Zürich Ballet in 2012 and became a member of the Royal Ballet of Flanders in 2014. Since 2016 she has danced with the Ballet of the Slovak National Theatre, where she has been a demi-soloist since 2017.

With the Ballet SND she has performed classical and neoclassical repertoire, including solo roles such as Juliet (Romeo and Juliet – As Yesterday..., chor. Natália Horečná), Soul (Slovak Dances – Lives of Lights, chor. Natália Horečná), the Gypsy Women (Beyond the Border of Sin/The Brothers Karamazov, chor. Boris Eifman), Gypsy (Esmeralda, chor. Vasilij Medvedev, Stanislav Fečo/after M. Petipa), Queen of the Night (BESS – Tribute to Rudolf Laban, chor. Šárka Ondrišová), Birbanto’s Friend (Le Corsaire, chor. Vasilij Medvedev/after M. Petipa), Big Swans (Swan Lake, chor. Rafael Avnikjan/after M. Petipa and L. Ivanov), Young Gypsy and Dryads (Don Quixote, chor. Vasilij Medvedev, Stanislav Fečo/after M. Petipa), Maude Delmond and Hannah (Chaplin – The Tramp, chor. Daniel de Andrade), Firefly (A Little Bug Is Born, chor. Igor Holováč), Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Competitors, chor. Libor Vaculík) and more.

Beyond Ballet SND her repertoire includes works by leading choreographers such as The Sleeping Beauty (Marcia Haydée), Fall (Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui), Four Schumann Pieces (Hans van Manen), The Green Table (Kurt Jooss ), Don Quixote (Alexei Fadeechev), Onegin (John Cranko), The Sleeping Beauty (Mats Ek), Swan Lake (Heinz Spoerli), Six Dances (Jiří Kylián), Serenade (George Balanchine), La Bayadère (Cynthia Harvey), Romeo and Juliet, Leonce and Lena, Solitude (Christian Spuck) and Symphonie in Red (Avatar Ayus).
