Emma Perez

Emma Rhodes Perez is an American dancer from New Orleans, Louisiana. She received her early training at the New Orleans Ballet Theater and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, and later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.

Her additional training includes programs with The Joffrey Ballet School, Alvin Ailey Professional Division, Springboard, and the B12 Research Festival in Berlin, working with artists such as Bobbi Jene Smith, Sidra Bell, Catherine Kirk, Johaness Wieland, LAJAMARTIN, Lali Ayguadé, Tom Weksler, and Cree Barnett Williams.

Emma has danced a wide range of repertoire including Balanchine’s The Nutcracker and Serenade, Antonin Rioche’s Jesus in Berlin, Rosie Herrera’s Devotion, Maya Taylor’s The High, and works with Tanzcompagnie Volkstheater Rostock under the direction of Keith Chin and Daniele Varallo.

She joined Slovenské Divadlo Tanca for the 2025–2026 season, performing in productions such as Cigáni idú do neba (tour), Zvonár u Matky Božej and Rómeo a Júlia by choreographer Ján Ďurovčík.

Her commercial work includes appearances in Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger, the AMC series Mayfair Witches, Spinal Tap 2, the dance film HAHA, campaigns for Girlfriend Collective, and multiple music videos, films and commercials including Vita Cola’s summer campaign. She also performed as a dancer on the 2025 Slovak tour of Duchon’s.

As a choreographer, Emma has created works including Three Ringed Circus (2019), A Rainbow Bridge at the End of the World (2022), Phantasmagoria (2023) and It’s Complicated… (2023).

Her skill set spans contortion and acrobatics, choreography and movement direction, butoh, film acting, creative direction, costume design, and photography and videography.
