Born in 2005 from the legacy of Bratislavské Divadlo Tanca, Slovenské divadlo tanca was founded by choreographer and director Ján Ďurovčík with one goal: to elevate Slovak dance onto the global stage. Operating independently and project-by-project, we’ve built a body of work that merges precision with emotion. The Firebird World Tour (2008–09) marked a milestone, bringing Slovak artistry to audiences in New York, London, Amsterdam, and beyond.
